Read a Money Book (really!)

Let’s be honest, books about personal finance can be a bit stale and intimidating.

Or perhaps you may have noticed that most books about money are written from the masculine voice. Check out this Top 20 List. The list has only one female author… and she was a co-author! Let this list not deter you, but provoke you to search for an author that inspires you.

If we really want to cultivate a healthy mental attitude and aptitude, delving into a book provides profound cerebral benefits, including:

  • Brain Synapse Strengthening

  • Cognitive Development

  • Stress Reduction

So, in addition to some financial learnings you will cultivate mental capacity and calmness. Give a money book a try, really!

Recommendations

Here are my three favorite go-to classics from my personal library. Each book takes you to the inner depths of transforming those “not enough” beliefs.

  • In The Soul of Money, Lynne Twist calls for conscious living by renewing and connecting “what we believe about money” with “what fulfills our soul.”

  • In The Trance of Scarcity, Victoria Castle wakes us from the thematic trance of “I am not enough” to see how we serve as part of the larger solution.

  • In The Energy of Money, Maria Nemeth uncovers the landscape of our hidden beliefs and offers integrative practices to change habitual patterns.
